Being in love is great. Being in love with your business, when you’re an entrepreneur, is even better. Waking up each morning knowing you are getting to do exactly what you love is more than most people could ever say about any “job” they have had. Although there are days when tossing in your hat seems like a viable option, remembering how much you love your “job” can quickly snap an entrepreneur out of that mentality. Different business owners also have different reasons why they love their business. It might be the products or the customers they deal with, or it could even be the fact that they are the ones in charge of it all. The reasons are as varied as the businesses themselves.
We asked some entrepreneurs what they loved about “being their own boss.”
#1- Freedom of decision making
When you're an entrepreneur, I believe you make a lot of sacrifices. Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. However, if you give everything you have and succeed, you will be rewarded with a sense of pride that you will never experience as a cog in a large corporation. Nothing compares to achieving success with something you've created. With no board members, coworkers, or other stakeholders to answer to, I have complete freedom to make my own decisions, which allows me to move quickly and launch new initiatives on the fly.

#2- Making a difference
Many people become entrepreneurs because they believe strongly in and are passionate about the product or service they provide. If you talk to a few entrepreneurs, almost every one of them will tell you that they started their company because they wanted to make a difference and have a positive impact on other people's lives. Being an entrepreneur has a lot of positive aspects. Being an entrepreneur may be a liberating experience from the confines of the corporate world.

#3- Growth opportunity
The ability to expand is one of my favorite aspects of being an entrepreneur. This is something that some people think about. Change is a natural part of life that occurs with or without our permission. It's an unavoidable part of life that might be for the better or for the worst. Some changes can be challenging to accept, while others can be thrilling and enjoyable. Things that will always change are what propels mankind forward in their quest for knowledge, wisdom, evolution, and growth.

#4- Personal satisfaction
Knowing that your dream offers joy to others has been really rewarding. I wanted to provide a creative and timeless touch to memorable occasions that bring joy to countless families, which is more than any entrepreneur could hope for. Many of us go to bed each night with the feeling that we could be doing more with our lives. Rather than allowing this anger to fester, some people channel it into a viable business that provides them with a much better sense of fulfillment.

#5- Self-actualization
At the least – it's more rewarding than a traditional job. You can pick your field, industry, the people you serve and work towards goals that you ultimately set. It's liberating and empowering. Even though it's more work (from my experience), it ends up being far more satisfying. You get the opportunity to discover how creative and determined you are in solving and exploiting the problems you encounter as you build your business. And, in the end, you are entirely responsible for your success, but also your failure.

#6- Being in control
The thrill of having control over your own destiny. This is something I can't emphasize enough. On the plus side, you accomplished something when things go well or you make progress. It was made by you. Despite the odds being stacked against you, you learned the full range of abilities required to run a business and develop something. There is an extraordinary sense of accomplishment that may take months if not years of hardship worthwhile.

#7- Flexibility of work
I get to work with the most ambitious and energetic small business owners. They are very engaged with their SEO services and it's rewarding to see them hit their goals. Allowing themselves to continue to live the life they want. When I worked for an employer, I was limited to vacation days or weekends to visit friends and family. But being able to work any time, anywhere provides me the flexibility to visit family and friends for long periods. I am so grateful for this aspect of my business.

#8- Being a change agent
I love being an entrepreneur because I have the ability to impact my community and create change. Through my non-profit Women Of Integrity Inc., our mission is to educate and empower women of all ages & ethnicities. I enjoy giving back and being of service. Through our various community outreach events, volunteering, and mentorship we are able to make a difference in the girls' lives that we work with. #9- Satisfying the consumer
You solved a client's need by being a business and if you aren't satisfying a consumer need and are merely working on a concept, you aren't a business owner you are a hobby owner. One of the most thrilling moments is when a client purchases your solution. It's a day when someone tells you that you're making a difference in their lives. The feeling of fulfillment is incredible. It's all too simple to merely fit into the system in the workplace. It's nearly hard to hide in a corner in entrepreneurship so you can proudly say I did it when things go well.

#10- Being engaged
Whenever I used to hear the word ‘engaged,’ I’d think about rings, proposals, and usually a lot of anxiety about the future. The truth is that entrepreneurship is just like that, it takes a huge leap, a large personal investment, and then an extended period of working toward a big event. But the word ‘engagement' also means the feeling of being focused. I remember the occasional Tuesday or Wednesday during my corporate career that I felt I was ‘in the zone.’ Now, I find that feeling nearly every day. Here’s to being engaged!

#11- Choosing your clients
One of my favorite aspects of being an entrepreneur is that I get to pick and choose which clients I deal with. It's difficult to like going to work if you're not working with clients you respect. I enjoy working with clients who are as enthusiastic about their ambitions as I am. When you work for someone else, you're frequently forced to deal directly with clients you despise or are not comfortable working with. Being your own boss gives you the freedom to choose which clients to work with.

Committing to oneself to provide top-notch results and perform at the highest standards for every client, 24/7, is a demanding profession. While it is possible to make life simpler for your family and others close to you as well as help your career by taking on projects, finding the proper balance between your work and personal life, and having some social life is difficult. #13- Making informed decisions
An entrepreneur is one who takes a calculated risk by forecasting profit and loss. For this, the decision-maker is basically an entrepreneur. If things go smoothly he's the one who gets credit, if there's a loss he's the one who learns from it. No one will say anything to him and that is one of the things which I love about being an entrepreneur. Next time he will learn from his mistakes and will execute things in a more proper way which will somehow decrease the probability of a failure.

#14- Taking your own decisions
As an entrepreneur, you get to make your own decisions, so you can work on something you’re passionate about while also being in control of your own income. When you’re working as an employee at someone else’s company, they decide your duties and your goals. Speaking of learning, education never ends for entrepreneurs. There are constantly learn necessities when you are managing your own business. It does not matter what degrees or studies you are achieved in the past, it can’t prepare you for the lessons of running a real business.

Well, being an entrepreneur is never easy, and you will come close to quitting up many times due to the difficulties you will face. #16- Exposure to many work domains
What I love most about it is its exposure through all the spheres of work responsibilities. Only the domain knowledge of technology and development won’t suffice. To manage a team of diverse departments of Vantage Circle, I had to do a lot of research and my experience of over two decades has been my strength. #22- Improving existing businesses
In reality, few people come up with brand new ideas. None of my ideas are really new. But when I see an interesting business that doesn’t function as well as it can, this is when I’m likely to get excited about a project. When you take an already existing concept, but
make it more efficient, better priced, or create a system that serves the customers better than it used to – this is fun. I love making new discoveries, coming up with a new way of doing something, and then systematizing it – teaching others to do the same.

It is not for everyone yet for those who are independent, visionaries who will not allow failures to get in their way, it is a way of life. I risk what I have created to create something better for my clients and employees. The first path I take may not be successful yet I will make a small turn or adjustment and keep moving.
