Entrepreneur Revolutionizing Online Shopping by Connecting Users Across Devices

Internet users are turning to online shopping more than ever before.  Thinkover, the fastest growing digital shopping platform known for revolutionizing and streamlining the art of online and mobile shopping, has announced the release of its first-ever Android version alongside the release of new social features that will enable users to discover, share, explore and follow others on the app. Since its launch, Thinkover has expanded its global user base exponentially! With the newly released features and Android availability, the company expects to continue rapid company growth. By allowing users to discover, collect, organize and manage their shopping, Thinkover solves the largest e-commerce pain point, and will facilitate more bottom-of-the-funnel transactions for merchants. Thinkover is currently available for Google Chrome, Safari, iOS and Android. We had a chance to interview Neumann and asked about her story, how she started her business and the future of Thinkover.

1. Tell us your story. Why did you start your business?

There was no brilliant epiphany. I simply love to shop in all forms – from window shopping up and down the street, to window shopping up and down the web. I spent a lot of time looking for a good way to save all of my favorite items in one place, but couldn’t find a good solution. Nothing really worked. So I decided to invent something – and since I came from a technical background, I was able to combine my skills and passion.

2.How did you come up with your business name?

It was challenging as you can imagine. Naming a business is even harder than naming a child – because it's okay if your child's name is already taken! We reviewed hundreds of options and fell in love with Thinkover because it is both descriptive and has an emotional benefit. It explains the essence of what we allow our users to do – to think-over the items they want, so they have time to consider any purchases. It's humane, warm and friendly.  Who doesn't want time to stop and think over their purchases?

3.Tell us about your products and services. How do you help clients?

We built our product so it can work without friction on the web – with Safari and Chrome extensions, and for mobile, with iOS and Android. These platforms work separately, but especially play well together. On the web, we allow our users to browse like they always do… except when they see something they like and may want to purchase, they can drag the image into Thinkover (a bar conveniently appears at the bottom of the web browser once the user begins to drag the item). Our users can also categorize any and all items on-the-fly, by creating new collections as they browse and save on Thinkover. Our users can always view the items they have collected, and are considering, in a convenient place. They can arrange them any way they want – by category, by retailer, by occasion, by color –  share with them with friends, and receive sale alerts. Another great feature is that we allow users to see what is trending in our community so that they are aware of all of the most popular items in real time. Users are also able to follow people in which have similar taste – you wouldn’t believe how many nice things I found this way! People with common tastes are the best source of inspiration!

4. What makes you unique? What is your unique selling proposition (USP)?

We are the only platform that allows online shoppers to intuitively manage all of the things they want to buy in one “think-over” place. For the first time there is really one place that works with all sites with no limitations. Our technology innovation bringing a simple “drag & drop” gesture – that everyone knows and understands – to our online shopping innovation.   We work on top of any online store on all platforms and ensure that our users receive sale alerts and can share their findings through social media.

5. Where do you see your business in the next 3-5 years? We have created a new digital shopping experience – the place between browse and buy.  Consumers have always had this analog space in their heads, and now they can have it on the desktop and mobile device. In the next 3-5 years we will expand that mission by adding more trend content, more social features, and more direct comunication between retailers and their customers.

6. Any advice you would give to entrepreneurs and business owners?

Hang-in there. Persistency is the most important quality as well as evaluating your priorities and making sure they are in the right order at all times. But don't confuse persistency with stubbornness – be open to what the market is saying.

7. What is your favorite business quote and why?

“The secret of all victory lies in the organization of the non-obvious” -Marcus Aurelius the Roman Emperor
