It’s the 2nd quarter of the year and right after the ball drops, it’s time to go to work. Often entrepreneurs and business owners create new 2nd quarter goals around their business or continue with the new year's resolution. It could be more revenue, hiring clients or launching a new product or service, but every new year & quarter is an exciting time because it’s ripe with opportunity. We asked 2 entrepreneurs to share their business goals and what they were looking forward to in the 2nd quarter.
#1- Launch a new membership site
We're launching a new membership site! The #FlexYourInfluence membership will offer business owners and marketers a collaborative place to not only develop their digital marketing skills but will also offer think tank and a virtual co-working environment. Our membership site is the alternative solution to working in isolation, which we know too much isolation isn't great for creativity or innovation. This membership site is a complimenting product to our agency. We're taking this first 3 months to build the affiliates, promotion and content. Looking forward to helping our members.

#2- Grow our number of weekly active members
At Zest, we all wrote down our personal goals for 2018, so we can celebrate in a year what we’ve managed to accomplish. This year, I’m trying to focus on managing my time better to be more productive – that’s my personal goal. My Zest goal is to help grow our number of weekly active members. For quarter two, we just get more specific about these goals with sub-goals. Zest goes over these goals with me every week, and seeing the progress on each one of them, every week, is amazing and inspiring. I’ve never been at a startup that does that. Supporting the whole person.

#3- Customer acquisition
For the second quarter, our primary focus will be customer acquisition. We already have market validation from a bunch of happy customers in various industries, whos companies range from small to medium size. For the next leg, we will be looking to work with larger organizations and enterprise teams who send out contracts at a higher volume. Accordingly, we’re focusing dev to the types of functionality that these enterprises need: full-fledged redlining and change tracking, contract management with parametric search (e.g., “show me the NDAs whose terms are up in the next month”), and deal analytics.
