14 Entrepreneurs Explain How Technology Will Affect Their Business Tomorrow

It’s becoming increasingly important for every business to have at least basic technology to run daily operations in the current day society. Society is changing and so is its demand and supply for new products and services. With new technology emerging, we can only imagine the changes it will bring along to the business platform.

We asked entrepreneurs and business owners how technology will possibly affect their businesses tomorrow and here are the responses:

#1- It will shape the future of my business

As technology advances, it opens up new possibilities for efficiency, productivity, and growth. This means constantly adapting and incorporating new tools and techniques into my workflow to stay ahead of the competition. I see technology as a crucial element in shaping the future of my business. It allows me to collect and analyze data, automate processes, and reach a wider audience through online platforms. With the help of AI and tools like ChatGPT, I can provide personalized and efficient services to my customers.

In the realm of e-commerce logistics, we’re gearing up for innovations like AI-driven warehousing and blockchain for secure, transparent transactions. These tech advancements will not only streamline operations but also provide personalized experiences for our clients. We see technology as a tool to bridge gaps, offering efficiency and scalability. This tech-forward approach will enable us to anticipate market trends, respond to customer needs swiftly, and maintain a competitive edge. Embracing technology is about leading and shaping the future of our industry.

Technology is quickly advancing and adapting to better serve virtual audiences, cut through the noise, and personalize experiences for users. One notable change on the horizon for my business is the use of LED lights in exhibits, which is growing more prevalent as the technology has become more reliable and the cost has decreased. I also expect to see more technology to assist with personalized experiences at trade shows, both in person and virtually, soon. This could involve anything from predictive AI to better capturing and sharing customer data in real-time.

#4- More usage of cloud storage and data security

Technology will continue to improve the storage of data. Most data today is stored electronically making it easier for retrieval when the information is needed. More organizations use cloud storage to supplement their facilities, which is made possible by cloud storage. Users can remotely upload and view content, and store and retrieve data as needed. This is a much more convenient way for organizations to access information. Now instead of purchasing internal servers, hard drives, and thumb drives, you can access information almost anywhere.

#5- Better customer accessibility

The importance of this impact of technology in my industry – home services – will only grow. And I'm talking about customer expectations. Plus, the rise of digitalization also leads to the fact that people are looking to do everything in a couple of clicks. So service businesses like ours need to embrace these changes and give people the opportunity to book a service over the phone, through online booking with a choice of dates and times, via messenger or social media. In other words, businesses should do their best to be accessible to everyone at all times.

Through the integration of advanced gardening technologies and innovative data analysis, we anticipate improved cultivation methods and personalized customer experiences. Smart gardening devices will allow for more precise control over growing conditions, leading to higher-quality produce. Meanwhile, digital platforms will enable us to connect with and educate our community more effectively, fostering growth and sustainability in the home gardening sector. My focus is on leveraging these technological advancements to further our mission of making gardening accessible.

Looking into the future, technology will continue to be a foundational element in shaping our e-commerce business. It will allow us to reach a wider audience, streamline our processes, and improve the overall customer experience – all while staying true to our brand's tone and values. As a business owner, I see technology as a crucial tool to help us stay relevant and competitive in the constantly evolving market. Technology is not just a tool; it's a mindset to embrace.

Technology is our ticket to doing business better and more smartly. We're on the brink of transforming how we connect and engage with our customers and how we operate to grow our business and stay competitive. In my experience, technology has something for every business, whether you're a small startup or a large corporation. Technology is crucial in driving growth and success, from automating processes and streamlining operations to enhancing customer experience and expanding reach. It will help my team and me to be more efficient, innovative, and adaptable.

#9- Reduced business overheads

Today, much of our business is conducted online. We meet with clients, assess their needs, and walk them through recommended yoga techniques online on Zoom. This tends to reduce overhead for businesses while making the process more convenient for consumers. However, I expect the future to hold even more sophisticated technology to facilitate online interactions, especially those that involve physical movements. Augmented reality and virtual reality have been looming closer for years, and I expect that we’re just a few major breakthroughs away from incorporating this into fields.

#10- Introduce innovative gardening techniques

With advancements in virtual reality, we can offer virtual garden tours and hands-on tutorials, creating a richer learning experience for our users. In addition, smart gardening tools and IoT devices will enable us to introduce innovative gardening techniques, improving plant growth outcomes for our audience. The integration of AI into our website will allow for personalized learning paths based on individual users' interests and levels of expertise, ensuring each visitor gains the most from their time spent with us.

#11- Relieving hiring duties

What started as a manual process of outlining our articles, deciding the sub-heads, and then eventually drafting the text, has now been handed over to AI for formal, monotonous work. For instance, all our articles are completed with ChatGPT’s assistance and we’re always only focusing on the core part of our business, providing you and publishing our audience with excellent technology news. We’re using software like Asana, and Trello to manage the content curation whereas AI software is screening applicants for us, relieving us from the majority of our hiring duties.

#12- More informed decisions

Technology has certainly played a big part in our success over the years, and we believe that technology will keep on assisting as we move forward. Tomorrow‘s advancements are really something to look forward to with promises of increased efficiency, streamlined operations, and overall enhanced customer experiences. From automation tools that will optimize workflows to data analytics platforms that will provide invaluable insights, technology will ultimately empower every business to make more informed decisions and stay one step ahead in competitive industries.

#13- Better preparations of students

The technology that has the biggest impact on our business today, and will continue to do so tomorrow, is educational technology. Over the years, simulators have gotten better, and with recent developments in AI, they will continue improving in the future. However, there simply is no substitute for real practical experience. Spending time behind the wheel helps our students to prepare for the conditions they will encounter in their careers, so while this technology affects our business, it will not change the fact that we make sure our students get plenty of behind-the-wheel experience.

#14- Cheapen and commoditize our skills and expertise

As AI moves closer to generating visual content, the more it erodes the need for our video production and animation services. In February, OpenAI announced Sora, the text-to-video generator which doesn't displace us as creators, but marks the start of a radical shift in our industry and client perception of what we do. I think this will cheapen and commoditize our skills and expertise, sometimes making it difficult to justify the cost of our services.
