I've discovered that having constant objectives that stem from an overall vision motivates me to continue striving for growth and new ventures. In the beginning, it was much harder to clearly see my vision but once I started generating revenue from my ideas, I needed more confidence. That self-belief helped me to develop an overall vision of making a profit by having a beneficial relationship with nature. It became easy to develop objectives for this. Motivation needs to come from outside of the business. As a business coach, I see too many people hang their self-confidence on their business outcomes. It's a very dangerous game to play. I focus on the big-picture change I am looking to make in the world. As a small business owner without any investors or partners, I don't take it lightly that my business is not only supporting my family but that of my staff as well. Honestly, I find it really difficult to stay motivated at times. It’s because I work in an industry that is often overlooked, misunderstood, and misrepresented. So, where do I get that from?
