It’s almost new year and right after the ball drops, it’s time to go to work. Often entrepreneurs and business owners create their New Year’s Resolutions around their businesses. It could be more revenue, hiring clients, or launching a new product or service, but every new year is an exciting time because it’s ripe with opportunity.
We asked entrepreneurs and business owners to share their business goals and what they were looking forward to in 2025. Here are their responses:
#1- To double online engagement
For 2025, my primary goal is to expand our online presence by doubling the engagement on our digital channels. Achieving this matters because, in our industry, visibility and engagement can often mean the difference between a lost lead and a new client. The initial plan of attack will be creating more niche-targeting content and using analytics to refine our strategy as it rolls out. I plan to build an audience that not only finds our platform valuable but actively seeks it out as a source of guidance. Deeper connections with our audience will strengthen our position in the market.
Thanks to Alex Ugarte, Office Space!
#2- To launch a podcast
People start podcasts for all sorts of reasons. I want to start a business podcast for those of us who don't fit into the “normal” idea of business owners. I want to focus on what makes us stand out as individuals, highlighting the incredible ways our services benefit our communities, and how being 100% yourself means your business will always be successful. The aim of the podcast is to educate, inspire, entertain.
Thanks to Cat Dunn, Cat Dunn OBM!
#3- To build a greener business
Even though the effects of climate change are clearly evident, many individuals continue to deny that it is currently the most hazardous issue confronting humanity. Businesses will also be impacted by climate change, in addition to our health. I hope to be more environmentally conscious in both my personal and professional life by 2025. Being a company that promotes eco-friendly goods and services is something I aspire to. In the long term, these small efforts add up to a lot, particularly for the economy and future generations.
Thanks to Guy Hadas, Age Group!
#4- To deepen our client relationships
My main goal is to deepen our client relationships, focusing on making every interaction feel genuine and valuable. We’ve experienced how much a personal approach can truly help clients grow, and I’m focused on taking that even further. By offering more personalized support, exploring fresh strategies, and staying proactive in meeting their needs, I hope to make these connections even stronger. This emphasis on authentic, hands-on support will not only foster better results but also strengthen the bond with each client, setting us up for meaningful, long-term success.
Thanks to Samuel Huang, Telegram Ads Agency!
#5- To expand accessibility strategically
My top goal for 2025 is to expand our company's presence in high-traffic locations. I want to make it easier for customers to access our products without interrupting their day, whether they’re at a transit hub, university campus, or major event space. We’ve already started seeing how these settings not only boost visibility but also increase sales; in 2024, our machines in select locations saw a 41.76% uptick in usage compared to traditional retail outlets showing us the potential to expand strategically rather than just aiming for high numbers.
Thanks to Andrew Fiore, Vape Vending Machines!
#6- To drive innovation
Our goals for the year ahead include driving the adoption of Bigleaf’s wireless solutions to add value to multi-site businesses that require exceptional internet connectivity to help them serve their customers and increase revenue. Additionally, we will continue to strive toward delivering additional innovation that will provide Bigleaf customers with an even better user experience and even more self-service options. And to retain the talented team behind our award-winning products, we will also focus on creating a world-class remote culture for our employees in 2025.
Thanks to Greg Davis, Bigleaf Networks, Inc.!
#7- To build an internal culture of innovation
My main goal for 2025 is to build an internal culture of innovation, where every team member feels empowered to bring forward ideas that can shape our business. I want to shift from top-down decision-making to a more collaborative approach, encouraging everyone to contribute to problem-solving and product development. By creating a space where team members can experiment and take ownership of new ideas. This focus on internal innovation is about making the business more agile and keeping us ahead long term.
Thanks to Jon Morgan, Venture Smarter!
#8- To build a more resilient business
In 2025, my main goal is to build a more resilient business by focusing on long-term sustainability. This means refining our operations to be more efficient and cost-effective while investing in technology that helps us scale smarter, not just bigger. I’ll also focus on deepening customer relationships by offering products and services that truly solve their problems. It's about maintaining flexibility in an ever-changing market and making sure we’re always improving the customer experience. At the same time, I want to ensure we’re able to adapt quickly to challenges and opportunities, without compromising on quality.
Thanks to Wes Wakefield, Pro Coffee Gear!
#9- To scale, innovate, thrive
The goal is to scale our business sustainably while maintaining the core values that got us here. Other than that, we are also looking to enhance our digital presence and increase the scalability of our services. At the same time, we are also committed to ensuring that our growth doesn’t compromise the quality of service we provide or the culture we have built. In the coming year, we are looking to find the perfect balance between innovation and profitability. And lastly, to become the go-to partner for businesses looking to break down language barriers and connect with audiences.
Thanks to Sudeepthi Garlapati, Naarg Data Media Services!
#10- To automate marketing processes
For 2025, I am looking to improve automation and streamline processes within the team. The online world of marketing is constantly evolving and changing and keeping on top of that is becoming more time-consuming. There are now so many marketing channels and just as one begins to take off there is a change that impacts results (Google Core Updates is a great example of this). So the need to spread yourself across multiple channels has never been so important. If we can tackle multiple channels more efficiently in 2025 then we will be in a great position moving forward.
Thanks to Maz Panayi, Watchmaking Tools!
#11- To empower women and redefine fashion
As a woman entrepreneur, I'm on a mission to position JD.JUNE as a leading choice for women’s professional wear. I believe there’s a growing need for brands to reflect the dual strength and authenticity of female leadership by offering both quality and style. Being a woman-owned brand means that we approach design with awareness and appreciation, championing all that it means to be an empowered woman. By designing non-iron dress shirts transformed into tuckless bodysuits, I want to offer modern women a brand that empowers them by embracing them.
Thanks to Charlotte Luu, JD.JUNE!
#12- To enhance patient care
In 2025, my top goal is to expand access to advanced, high-quality implant solutions for more patients across New Jersey. At Sage Dental NJ, we’re committed to refining our techniques and broadening our services so that complex, full-mouth restorations like our ImmediaTEETH® and Better Than A Denture™ solutions—are accessible to those who might otherwise struggle to find specialized care. By investing in the latest technology and enhancing patient education, we aim to make the implant process more efficient and affordable, helping individuals improve their quality of life.
Thanks to Dr. Avi Israeli, Sage Dental!
#13- To empower social change
My ultimate goal for 2025 is to continue growing our impact and empowering more people to engage in meaningful social good. I am focused on expanding the reach of our platform, ensuring it serves a greater number of communities, and providing them with the tools to create positive change. In 2025, I plan to double down on this commitment, creating more opportunities for people to actively participate in volunteer work, charitable initiatives, and social impact. My focus will be on building partnerships that align with these values and ensure long-term growth for our mission.
Thanks to Rob Peabody, UpFrom!
#14- To foster team growth
My main objective in 2025 is to prioritize team growth through professional development, enhancing our people-first culture at our company. We’re committed to investing in the well-being, creativity, and skills of our team members because they’re the driving force behind our innovation and success. By nurturing a culture that values each individual’s unique contributions, we’ll be better equipped to solve complex client challenges with fresh, cutting-edge solutions. This year is about empowerment ensuring our people feel valued and motivated to push boundaries in digital marketing.
Thanks to Jason Hennessey, Hennessey Digital!
#15- To expand sustainable solutions
Our top goal for 2025 is to broaden our product range while staying true to our commitment to eco-friendly, effective solutions. We want to make our sustainable laundry products more accessible to households so that, besides performance, the reduced footprint and gentle skin care become significant values provided by our brands. We will maintain an upward trajectory in our brand presence, not just in e-commerce but also in channels, so we can connect with more people who are searching for smarter, greener ways of managing laundry.
Thanks to Dan Steiner, Good Laundry!
#16- To empower mental wellness
I want our company to be seen as a trusted resource where people can find not only high-quality products but also support and education around mental wellness releasing more interactive campaigns that encourage open conversations about mental health, partnering with mental health advocates, as well as creating accessible, informative content that can help break down the stigma around psilocybin use for well-being. In the end, my aim is to build a supportive space that empowers people to explore new, safe ways to prioritize their mental health.
Thanks to Denise Murray, Microdose Mushrooms!
#17- To optimize digital marketing
Enhance our digital marketing strategy. I aim to increase brand awareness and boost customer engagement. I plan to leverage data-driven insights by optimizing our content to refine our targeted campaigns, ensuring we effectively reach the right audience at the right time. Also, I intend to implement advanced marketing automation tools to streamline our processes and improve efficiency. Investing in innovative technologies will enable us to analyze customer behavior and preferences, leading to more personalized experiences.
Thanks to Nick Follows, ID Card Centre!
#18- To enhance operational efficiency
My top goal for 2025 is to empower more professionals to claim time freedom while scaling their businesses efficiently. I aim to help them leverage AI, branding, and digital marketing strategies to amplify wealth and optimize their lifestyles. By providing tailored solutions for entrepreneurs, business owners, and creatives, the focus is on helping them build sustainable growth without sacrificing personal fulfillment. The mission is clear: scale smarter, live better, and unlock the potential for extraordinary life and business balance.
Thanks to Kellianne Fedio, Kellianne.Me!
#19- To expand industry presence
As we look ahead to 2025, NDT Group's primary goal is to expand our presence in key sectors, such as renewable energy. Our technicians already have all the qualifications and accreditations required. We already rank well for high-intent keywords due to our SEO strategy. So, we'll increase our presence by starting a cold email campaign to target the decision-makers within the industry. With the increasing demand for offshore wind and renewable energy, our vision is to lead innovation and continue providing top-tier support for these growing sectors.
Thanks to Matthew Conway, NDT Group!
#20- To expand client base effectively
At Cleaning Technique, our number one goal for 2025 is to achieve significant growth by expanding our client base by focusing on bespoke, tailored commercial cleaning services. We aim to build long-term partnerships by delivering exceptional, personalized solutions that meet each client’s needs. By continuing to prioritize outstanding customer service and building strong relationships, we aim to foster brand loyalty and maintain our reputation for excellence. This approach will be key to driving our business forward and reaching new markets in the year ahead.
Thanks to Sean McGrath, Cleaning Technique Ltd!
#21- To multiply organic search traffic
The top goal is to increase organic search traffic to our website by ten times our existing search referrals. We are putting together an editorial calendar of topics and related articles that will attract our target customers to our online store and resource pages related to sports and athletic training. Many small companies now outwardly believe that with the major changes made by Google in 2023 to its algorithm designed to push more search traffic towards user-generated content, doing SEO and content marketing as it’s been done in the past is futile. However, we still see unlimited opportunities to succeed in this area of marketing and grow sales with a high ROI.
Thanks to Richard Robbins, Robbins Athletics!
#22- To expand accessible healthcare nationwide
Our #1 goal for 2025 is to expand accessible healthcare options nationwide by refining and scaling our digital platform. We aim to streamline the medical marijuana card process even further, making it efficient, affordable, and available to more people. This includes investing in cutting-edge technology, expanding state partnerships, and improving patient support so that everyone who needs this treatment can obtain it smoothly. Through these efforts, we’re focused on empowering patients to access essential care in the most seamless way possible.
Thanks to Aspen Noonan, Elevate Holistics!
#23- To empower growth through innovation
Next year, I aim to leverage technology and local insights further to continue providing personalized, transformative experiences for our guests. I'm determined to empower my team to innovate and adapt, ensuring we thrive in market conditions. And most importantly, I want to continue cultivating relationships with our clients, making sure that their satisfaction remains at the heart of everything we do. As an entrepreneur, it's essential to constantly evolve and revolutionize your business.
Thanks to Peter Hamdy, Auckland & Beyond Tours

This includes expanding our market reach and enhancing our product offerings to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Ultimately, my focus is on cultivating a company culture that values integrity, creativity, and continuous improvement, laying a solid foundation for long-term success.
Thanks to Michael Monette, Office Furniture Plus!
#25- To drive innovation forward
My primary goal for 2025 is to drive sustainable growth while maintaining a strong focus on innovation. I want to see the company expand its market presence, offering solutions that genuinely address our clients' needs. This involves not only refining our current offerings but also exploring new opportunities that align with our core strengths. Personally, I aim to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the organization.
Thanks to Brandon Thor, Thor Metals Group!
#26- To make TMS Therapy accessible
In 2025, my biggest goal is to make TMS therapy more accessible to people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and OCD. At The TMS Advantage, we’ve seen firsthand how transformative this treatment can be, and I want to ensure that more individuals who feel like they’ve run out of options know that there’s still hope. My focus is not only on expanding access but also on reducing the stigma around mental health treatments so people feel empowered to seek the help they deserve.
Thanks to Dr. Katherine R. Rizzo, The TMS Advantage!
#27- To focus on hyper-personalization
My aim is to focus on hyper-personalization, ensuring that our service becomes an indispensable part of our users' daily routines. By leveraging AI and machine learning, we can anticipate and meet unique needs, transforming the way people engage with information. I believe that by prioritizing depth over breadth, we foster genuine loyalty and create advocates for our brand. This philosophy also extends to our internal culture. By investing in our team's well-being, we create a positive feedback loop that enhances the overall quality of our service.
Thanks to Derek Pankaew, The Listening App LLC!
#28- To expand, optimize and excel
In 2025, my top priority is to expand our digital marketing services while continuing to deliver industry-leading results for our clients. It’s what we’re known for, but there’s always room to be bigger (and better)! Part of our growth strategy includes using AI-driven analytics to really dial in the accuracy of our campaigns, which makes them more efficient and powerful. Next year is going to be big as we continue our focus on client success. In my opinion, it’s all about ramping up the personalized support we offer. As we expand, it's important to me that we keep the focus on helping our clients flourish.
Thanks to Chris Hinman, TheBestReputation!
#29- To publish, inspire and evolve
To finally publish my book Teaching Pricing for Freelancers. It's been stuck to my wall in a neat collection of Post-it notes for so long now that some have lost their stick. It's not just a goal anymore, it's the gateway to the next version of myself, the one who speaks on international stages and helps a whole new audience of freelancers how to be more creative with the way they price. What was once a goal is now the gateway to the next chapter.
Thanks to Jasmine Parasram, Creative Business Kitchen!
#30- To expand, educate and connect
Our number one goal for 2025 is to expand Canadian Parent's reach and become the leading resource for parenting advice and support across Canada. We aim to grow our audience by focusing on practical, real-world content that addresses the specific challenges parents face today. We will also enhance community engagement, offering a space where parents can share experiences and advice. Our strategy includes adding new educational resources, fostering partnerships with family-focused brands, and increasing accessibility to our platform.
