Being in love is great. Being in love with your business, when you’re an entrepreneur, is even better. Waking up each morning knowing you are getting to do exactly what you love is more than most people could ever say about any “job” they have had. Although there are days when tossing in your hat seems like a viable option, remembering how much you love your “job” can quickly snap an entrepreneur out of that mentality. Different business owners also have different reasons why they love their business. It might be the products or the customers they deal with, or it could even be the fact that they are the ones in charge of it all. The reasons are as varied as the businesses themselves.
We asked some entrepreneurs what they loved about “being their own boss.”
#1- Entrepreneurial mindset
I love being an entrepreneur because I thrive on constantly thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset because it consistently leads to innovation. And in today's business environment, that's what's required to stay up-to-date with the competition. Risk is being rewarded, and new ideas and brainstorming sessions are becoming the norm. It's definitely an inspiring time! Being an entrepreneur also provides me with the opportunity to pivot and shake things up when a campaign is falling flat. Stepping outside of your comfort zone to do this can be both scary and exhilarating, but when it pays off, it's one of the best feelings I've ever experienced!

#2- Problem-solving especially under high pressure
The challenge, and pushing myself until I figure out a practical solution to the problem at hand. This has made me discover new elements about myself, and I have learned to listen to and trust my gut instincts more.

I love my profession because Our kindra is a resource for candid care for women in menopause because I believe that all women deserve support when it comes to taking care of ourselves. I know that true confidence comes with embracing change. When women lift up other women, we can face any challenge the world throws at us even menopause.

#4- Fortunate to do what you love
As an entrepreneur, I am in the fortunate position to be able to choose what I want to spend my time working on. I find that my best work is done when I’m excited about a project. I need to be constantly learning and taking on new challenges. I have never looked at my work as a sacrifice of my time. I think it all comes down to your perspective. I devote my time to learning and working because I enjoy it and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else.

In a world where trends are shifting by the minute, one thing I love about being an entrepreneur is the freedom to pursue new business ventures. You never know when a good business opportunity will happen and having the flexibility to quickly shift your resources to a new venture is critical. The reason why I became an entrepreneur is that I have a goal, and that is adding the positive experience of social responsibility to the simple e-comm purchase of a household staple: toilet paper. I was going to school to be a Dentist and my friend introduced and showed me how to capitalize on having a lot of followers. #10- Able to earn a living doing my life’s goal
Helping others discover their authentic selves and empower them to pursue their unique passions. I am able to work towards this goal each day in the way I know best, seeking out advice when I need it. As a former teacher who had her daily instruction dictated by people far removed from my classroom, I was often frustrated by the disconnect and lack of true understanding from those “above” me. Now as a leader of my own staff, I aim to provide invaluable support and opportunities to supplement my instructors’ natural talents. They, in turn, are able to bring out the best in their students. #12- Total control over your own destiny
Ultimately, you can't blame anyone for failure but yourself, but the upside is that when you're successful, the sensation of having achieved a difficult goal is beyond words. Entrepreneurship is also a way to be creative in a field (business) where so many get bogged down by the minutia of day-to-day operations rather than having the luxury of looking at the big picture – as in how people will use your products, or how the services you provide will impact your community.

When I started my guitar shop business, I realized that I need to expand my business ideas to gain more profits. This is where I started including other instruments into my collection at the shop. As an entrepreneur what I love most is I can run my own entity all by myself. Everyone likes decisions of their own – when and how they are taken. #19- Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is being built into a lot of marketing now, and I find that exciting. There’s now a lot of deployment of AI in digital marketing to help automate some of those processes. It’s exciting but also a little scary in terms of how it may play out over time. Google has so much information about us that how they market to us when you really start to look at it, is extremely scary. Same with Facebook. Technology is always exciting, but it’s also a little concerning.

#20- No need to ask for permission
As an entrepreneur, your ideas are yours to implement whenever and however you want. I do not have to jump through hoops, wait until the budget is available, or seek approval from a higher-up to bring my ideas to life. This is both daunting and freeing but the benefits of being solely responsible for whether my ideas see the day of light outweigh any imaginable downsides. Too many people go through life waiting to be granted permission by this person or the other. When we are not given this approval, we end up feeling undervalued and resentful and we may no do anything with these brilliant ideas unless we take action and pursue the entrepreneurial path.

#21- Relationships are Key
It allows freedom for creativity and the ability to control your own destiny. The best part of owning your own company is being able to choose. You can choose what you do for business, how you do that business and, most importantly, who you do business with! Success and longevity in any venture begins and ends with people, starting from the top. At Center Sphere, we are all about relationships. Relationships are not transactional like most people view the business. Although, like a business, you need to invest in and cultivate those relationships. I love being an entrepreneur for a few reasons, and the key reasons are freedom and flexibility. I am running a multimillion-dollar business, and hundreds of employees are working for my company. I love most the diversity that entrepreneurship brings. No two days are the same. I never know if I will be wearing my marketing hat, my finance hat, my product development hat, or my lawyer hat. Every day is different and requires me to think about the business in different ways. Just when I think I've got a handle on one area, opportunities to improve arise in other areas. There's always something interesting to think about, and with that comes excitement. I love that every day is a strategic and a learning opportunity.
